TOWN OF SCHUYLER — A 21-year-old woman was found with 400 pounds of marijuana edibles during a traffic stop on the Thruway in Herkimer County on Wednesday, according to law enforcement officials.

State police said Lindsay L. Miranda, 21, of Hudson, Columbia County, was pulled over for a vehicle and traffic violation on the Thruway at about 12:50 p.m. Wednesday. Troopers said they interviewed Miranda and developed cause to search the vehicle.

Troopers said they found 400 pounds of marijuana edibles, two pounds of marijuana and approximately $8,000 in cash in the vehicle.

Miranda is charged with one count of second-degree marijuana, a class D felony, authorities said.

She was arraigned in Town Court and was released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to reappear in court.
