The Woodland Daily Democrat reports….
Four suspects allegedly broke into a Woodland marijuana site and fired a handgun at security guards as they fled the scene Wednesday, officials say.
According to the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, four subjects entered a “licensed marijuana site” several miles west of Woodland on Sunday at approximately 1 p.m., cutting a fence to access the property.
The post did not specify whether anything was stolen.
When two armed security guards spotted the subjects as they approached, all four fled back to their vehicle, described in the post as a black SUV, possibly a BMW or a Mercedes.
Before feeling the scene, one of the subjects allegedly fired two rounds from a handgun in the direction of the security guards, according to the post.
“One suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, 5’08”, medium to heavy build, and last seen wearing a red t-shirt and basketball shorts,” the Facebook post states. “A second suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, 5’08”, medium build, dark hair, and last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.”
