It is 420 today !
Two Kansas City area companies are coming together to create new marijuana-infused snacks for all the 420 enthusiasts. Local cannabis manufacturer Franklin’s Stash House and Guy’s Snacks released THC-infused potato chips and root beer just in time for the cannabis holiday Thursday. “I hope people enjoy these delicious new ways to snack,” Mark Wilson, Franklin’s Stash House CEO, said in a statement. The root beer is described as a refreshing drink with 10 mg of THC per can. A container of regular potato chips contains about 20 mg of THC, which is about 2 mg per chip. For now, there is only one flavor of chips available, but Franklin’s Stash House spokesperson Kate Higgins said more flavors will likely be available in the future. “Since we first mentioned the possibility of a Guy’s chip collaboration last year, our team has been inundated with inquiries.
With significant research and development performed in the interim, we are pleased to now be delivering these two highly-requested products to our passionate customers,” Wilson said. The snacks are available Thursday for dispensaries to buy, but are not yet available to the public, according to Higgins. Customers can expect the snacks to be on the shelves of local dispensaries within the next two weeks. Franklin’s Stash House products can be found at many dispensaries across the Kansas City area, including From the Earth, Homestate, BesaMe Wellness and more.
Call your local dispensary to find out if they will have the new Guy’s THC-infused chips and root beer products.
