Two Egyptians and a Bedoun caught smuggling 174 kgs hashish

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced Friday that three persons (One bedoun and two Egyptians) were arrested while they were trying to smuggle about 174 kgs hashish (drugs) laid in the bottom of Kuwait’s Bay. Upon the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Ministry’s borders security sector, represented in the general administration of coastguards, has managed to arrest the accused and referred them and the seizure to the competent bodies to take the required legal measures, the Ministry’s media security and public relations department said in a statement.

This was carried out by the general directorate of narcotics control, according to the statement. The Ministry stressed keenness of the minister on combating decisively those smuggling drugs, it pointed out.
