THREE ARRESTED WITH SIX KILOS OF HASHISH AND 720 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA IN SOUTH TENERIFE

Agents of the General Corps of the Canary Islands Police (CGPC) have arrested three people, of Italian nationality, during the search of a residential and a commercial premises in the El Chaparral urbanization in Costa del Silencio, in the south of Tenerife, in possession of six kilos of hashish, 720 grams of marijuana, and 11,544 euros in cash.

At the same time, agents also seized four daggers, an axe, a compressed air shotgun, five mobile phones, four sets of precision scales, a heat-sealing machine, 6,000 transparent bags, and 200 plastic containers for transporting drugs, as reported in a police press release.

The arrests were made after complaints from neighbours about the three men selling and consuming drugs in the El Chaparral area.

After opening the corresponding proceedings, the agents began an investigation and surveillance in order to get a search warrant which led to the discovery and confiscation of the items listed.

The three men, with the relevant police reports, have now been passed to the Arona courts where they will face trial.
