Staten Island: New Dorp Beach man cops plea in ketamine, marijuana raid

A New Dorp Beach man has become the third of four defendants charged in a drug raid last year in Brooklyn to plead guilty in the case.

Bihuang Liu, then 29, and his accomplices were busted on Aug. 10, 2019, after authorities said they found 10 pounds of marijuana, about three kilos of ketamine and over one kilo of concentrated cannabis, along with other drug paraphernalia inside a Brooklyn building.

The events unfolded the prior afternoon, Aug. 9, around 2 p.m. said officials.

Authorities allege Liu received a package of ketamine on Milton Avenue in New Dorp Beach at that time and turned the package over to Luhong Lian, then 28, and Da Wu, then 19, both Brooklyn residents.

Lian and Wu loaded the package into a vehicle.

Those two defendants transported the package to the 2000 block of 60th Street in Brooklyn, where Wu and another co-defendant, Zenhuai Lian, then 24, brought the package of ketamine inside, a criminal complaint alleged.

The Lians live on the same block, said officials.

A special agent with the Department of Homeland Security then saw Liu enter the same building, the complaint said.

That evening, authorities obtained a search warrant.
