Sir Paul McCartney may be able to afford all the security in the world, but even he has to hide his precious hemp from local children with a penchant for pinching.
The Beatles legend has made the pretty cool revelation that he’s growing hemp on his own farm at his sprawling estate in Peasmarsh, near Rye.
Despite the large grounds, Sir Paul has revealed he’s actually stashed it away somewhere away from view to avoid it being stolen. So basically, it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack given the size of his property.
Speaking on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast, Sir Paul said: ‘We’re actually just getting into growing hemp, the funny thing with Government regulations is you’ve got to keep it where people can’t see it, because you get all the kids coming in and robbing it.’
