24-year-old Florida man arrested after weed-smelling vehicle reveals cannabis and related paraphernalia.
Deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) were unlikely surprised to learn that drug use may have been at play when they saw a vehicle travelling down the wrong side of the road and opted to pull it.
The stop last week occurred in Naples, Fla. As the deputies approached the vehicle, in which there was the driver and one passenger, they noticed the smell of burnt cannabis, according to NBC 2.
Carrying out a search of the vehicle, the officers found two bottles of THC gummies, cannabis flower buds, a THC vape and a bong.
Ryan Miller, 24, was arrested and brought to a local jail, note arrest details posted by the CCSO. Miller was later charged with possession of a controlled substance (synthetic narcotic), possession of not more than 20 grams of marijuana and possession and/or use of narcotic equipment paraphernalia.
