Only Fools and Horses star Paul Barber, A.K.A, Denzil Tulser said he once snuck off set to smoke cannabis with a co-star.
The actor said he and Roger Lloyd Pack who played Trigger got ‘whacked’ while filming a Christmas special episode.
Paul who appeared on the Mixtape Assembly podcast, hosted by Hartley Lloyd Pack, the son of Roger, admitted he was one of the show’s ‘naughty boys’.
The actor played up to his reputation and recalled the time during one extended period of downtime, stuck on a ferry filming the ‘Strangers on the Shore…!’ Christmas special episode, him and Roger decided to smoke cannabis.
Paul said: “We got whacked on the way over to scatter Uncle Albert’s ashes, on that episode, when we went on the ferry.”
“I always thought we were the bad boys, we were the naughty boys on Only Fools, and I liked that.”
Hartley told Paul that his father saw him as his “best mate” on the show, a feeling reciprocated by the Liverpudlian actor.
Paul added: “Working with your dad, I just looked forward to it.”
The Toxteth born actor said he missed Roger who sadly passed away following a battle with pancreatic cancer in 2014.
As well as offering a fascinating personal insight into his youth growing up in Toxteth, Paul recounted the shenanigans he and other co-stars got up to while filming Only Fools and Horses.
