Oman: Two men arrested for smuggling large quantities of drugs into Oman

Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested two infiltrators on Tuesday for smuggling large quantities of drugs into Oman.

A statement issued by ROP said, ‘The General Administration of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control arrested three people on charges of possession, trafficking and use of narcotic drugs.’

It seized more than 158kg of hashish , morphine and hashish, and 2,300 tablets of psychotropic substances. ‘Legal procedures have been taken against them,’ it stated.
