North Dakota: Five arrested on drug charges

Five people were arrested on drug charges Tuesday in Stutsman County, according to Benjamin Kennelly, sergeant with the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The arrests were made about 2:30 p.m. on Interstate 94 near Cleveland, Kennelly said. A trooper pulled a car over for speeding and could detect the odor of marijuana. He searched the vehicle discovering hashish and marijuana and made the arrests without incident.

Arrested were Frampton Johnson, 26, Cheyenne Schultz, 25, Anthony Scott, 27, Antwuan Scott, 24, and Demond Williamson, 44. All are from Wisconsin. All were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of hashish and were in custody in the Stutsman County Correctional Center as of Wednesday morning pending formal charges.
