Authorities in Sabha have raided a house after receiving a tip that its owner is planting the cannabis plant (marijuana) on his property.
The criminal investigation department of the southern branch confirmed that its crew raided the house, arrested its owner, and referred him to the Public Prosecution.
According to the department, the defendant confessed during his interrogation that he has being grown marijuana inside his house for nearly a year with the help of a Sudanese national.
