A man in his 30s has been arrested following the seizure of €19,000 worth of drugs in Ferrybank last night.
Cocaine to the value of €17,500 and €1,500 worth of cannabis were seized when the Waterford Divisional Drugs Unit searched a premises in the Ferrybank area of Waterford City.
The search was conducted as part of Operation Tara.
A man in his 30s was subsequently arrested, and brought to Waterford Garda Station, where he was detained for questioning.
