A weed smoker claimed his huge cannabis farm in his home was all for “personal use”.
Police found as many as 60 plants in Lee Kemp’s Sunderland pad.
The 40-year-old was previously jailed in 2011 for growing his own.
And he’s admitted it again – but insists his hash stash was all for “medicinal” purposes.
A court heard Kemp, a joiner by trade, is unable to work due to ongoing seizures.
Scans have uncovered a mystery “black mass” near his brain, and the fits mean he can’t drive.
But police arrested him after neighbours near his Millfield home reported a burglary.
When officers arrived they could smell a strong stench of cannabis.
Kemp, of Blackett Terrace, pleaded guilty to producing cannabis at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court.
The defendant was granted unconditional bail until sentencing at Newcastle Crown Court on December 6.
