A Smoky Bay man will face court after police allegedly located cannabis plants and dried cannabis at his home this week.

Just after 6.30pm on Thursday, April 29, following information received via Crime Stoppers, Ceduna Police patrols armed with a search warrant searched a Smoky Bay residence where they allegedly located three large cannabis plants growing in the backyard and 3.8 kilograms of dried cannabis inside the house.

Police interviewed a 47-year-old man, who was reported for cultivating cannabis and trafficking a large commercial quantity of cannabis.

The man will be summoned to appear in the Ceduna Magistrates Court at a date to be set.
