A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
A manager for the business stated the suspect entered the business and attempted to make a purchase. Due to the individual’s suspected high intoxication he was denied service.
The individual then allegedly went back to his vehicle and shot a single round into the window.
The windows are reinforced and no one was injured. The business will be closed while the investigation takes place and the window is fixed.
At the scene of the arrest, deputies located a firearm as well as a single bullet casing.
UPDATE 10:06 a.m.: A traffic stop is being conducted at Fairview and Sweetwater in connection with this incident. Updates to follow.
UPDATE 9:46 a.m.: According to the dispensary’s video footage of the shooting, the man is actually wearing a white t-shirt. The bullet was fired at 9:12 a.m.

Just after 9 a.m. a man was reported to have shot a single bullet through the window of one of Carson City’s two cannabis dispensaries.
The vehicle then drove east on Highway 50 towards Dayton in a 1999 Green Ford Explorer.
The vehicle is occupied by a male of medium build, Hispanic, in a grey sweater who is reported to be highly intoxicated.
Deputies are searching for the vehicle and the suspect now along Highway 50 E, Airport Road, and near Slot World.
No one was reported to be injured in the shooting.
