A 32-year-old male has been arrested for illegal cultivation of dagga on Thursday, 27 January in Endlovini informal settlement, Harare. Police have been monitoring the situation where they have noticed a person who was regularly watering the plantation.
Police visited the premises and established that the suspect has been cultivating dagga.
Harare SAPS with Law Enforcement conducted a joint operation at the premises and confiscated 274 mature dagga plants and arrested one suspect.
Once charged he is expected to make a court appearance in Khayelitsha
