Windsor police made multiple arrests Tuesday following a months-long investigation by the drugs and guns unit.
In July, police launched a probe into the suspected trafficking of illicit drugs. During the investigation, several suspects, residences, and a vehicle were identified as being involved.
On Tuesday, officers located a suspect in the involved vehicle and arrested the person without incident. A search of the vehicle, which was seized, revealed “a quantity of illicit drugs and currency,” police said.
A second suspect was located at one of the involved residences and arrested without incident.
All of the involved residences were searched, resulting in the seizure of a large amount of illicit drugs with an estimated street value of $450,000. Drugs seized include fentanyl, cannabis, psilocybin mushrooms, cocaine, and crystal methamphetamine.
